FOUNDER / MANAGER
Leonardo Simões grew up in a family that breathed music. From a very young age, his ear was trained to recognize music, sounds and different beats.
In 2014, he gained a taste for electronic music traveling around the country, infecting the public with his sets.
In 2021, he presents himself as an independent manager.
2022 marks the year of change for Leonardo Simões, when, together with Raquel Nunes, the brand Dona Maria The Doobie Grandma is founded, associated not only with the world of music, but also with hemp.
Raquel Nunes
FOUNDER
Raquel Nunes grew up in a home where joy and inspiration for entrepreneurship prevailed.
She is passionate about communication between people, especially the foreign public, graduating in 2019 in Tourism Management at the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril.
After working for several years in the hotel and tourism industry, he has always been interested in developing his own project.
It is in 2022 that, joining forces with Leonardo Simões, the brand Dona Maria The Doobie Grandma is founded.
Pedro Crossas
FILMAKER/PRODUCTION
Pedro Crossas a.k.a Crossas Films, Director of Photography, took his first steps in the audiovisual field in 2013, when he debuted his skills in capturing surf.
In 2014, he completed the Image and Lighting Operator course at ETIC, where he strengthened and perfected his skills.
He was part of the GO-S.TV team when he completed his internship in 2015, reinforcing his skills in documentary filming and sports/musical events. The following year, he established himself as a freelancer filming documentaries and surf events.
It is in 2020 that he begins to explore new areas, namely in the field of music and advertising, immersing his knowledge in a new segment. Two years later, he becomes a member of The Doobie Grandma team, introducing product photography to his portfolio, maintaining his passion for documentary and fiction filming.
Afonso Cardoso
SOUND ENGENIER / FRONT OF HOUSE
Afonso Cardoso a.k.a Ozodrak inaugurates his journey in the world of music in 2014, starting his High Tech Psytrance project. This year is also marked by his arrival at the Sound course at the Escola Profissional de Imagem (E.P.I). Here he had the opportunity to expand his knowledge, working not only in a studio environment, but also making live sound.
Years later, he starts a small studio together with two colleagues. Subsequently, its location is changed to WaveBlockRec, where various artists begin recording, mixing and mastering.
In 2017, he completed the course and started his work as a Freelance Sound Technician and F.O.H in several events.
