Notype was born in a humble neighborhood on the outskirts of Cascais. He was the first of five brothers, sharing together the will to change, to be, to want and, above all, the will to happen.
His connection with music comes early. Since he was young, he shared his time with the streets, which led to his participation in freestyle circles influenced by his older friends.
As he grew up, influenced by artists such as Chris brown, Usher, Trey Songz, TI, 50 cent, DeMarco, T-pain, Eminen, Tyga, Drake, Regula, NGA, Daelema, he ended up meeting essential people on his journey musical. One of them was Lil Jesus who introduced him to his DamnMusic studio, where Notype is as an artist. He had the opportunity to meet several people and explore various musical styles. That’s where his stage name comes from, precisely because he can’t label himself with a musical style. He states that music and its creation represent moments.
Currently, aged 26, his experience is greater and the desire to make known his
music to the world is huge.
